Published in 1919 by author, newspaper reporter and editor Francis E. Leupp, this was the first biography of George Westinghouse. Even though he’d only met Westinghouse twice on social occasions, Leupp weaves a well written and engrossing portrait of the man. The entire book is available for free via the Internet Archives.

Also below is a review of the book that ran in the New York Times on September 29, 1918.
