For decades in the middle of the 20th century, the Westinghouse Electric Corporation recruited up to 1000 students annually from the nation’s colleges to participate in its graduate training program to earn positions in the company.
This recruitment pipeline was so important that, the company’s Graduate Education Department updated its manual Westinghouse Organization and Products every three years.
As evident from the table of content pages from the 1970 edition represented below, the 675-page tome detailed every aspect of the company’s worldwide operations and provides excellent insight into the myriad ways Westinghouse Electric worked.
We hope to make the complete volume available online, but in the meantime, if you’re interested in seeing a chapter of the manual, please leave a message and contact information in the comment section below.
