The Men Who Built America
Although somewhat dramatic and overly repetitive, the twelve-episode History Channel series The Men Who Built America certainly offers plenty of perspective on how the industrial revolution in the late 19th and early 20th centuries transformed the world.
While the series features on five notable names, its cast includes many other players. In particular, Episode Six, which chronicles the development of electricity, is titled Edison versus Tesla. Although not given sufficient credit, George Westinghouse certainly plays a supporting role.
